All in all very good value for money. The staff were helpful, comfortable bed, satisfactory breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights here, loved Angyalföld - Újlipótváros district.
-
The hotel itself is AWESOME, we appreciated views and location. A pleasant bar does the trick. Welcome base for exploring Budapest.
-
appetising food and professional stuff. our kudos go to chef for the hospitality! angyalföld - újlipótváros district was worth visiting. loved the restaurant for breakfast.
-
Outstanding room for relaxing. A pleasant stay in Budapest. Japanese garden was within walking distance. You can visit Trio Pizza that offers excellent meals.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes!
-
No complaints whatsoever, the venue met expectations. A great selection of restaurants to eat close by, like Mycanteen Nepfurdo utca that was only 15 minutes' walk away.
-
The location of the hotel is uniquely beautiful! The staff is polite and professional. The wellness area very pleasant. The hotel offers a lot! Super quiet hotel in Budapest.
-
Everything. The hotel was just great. The staff was courteous, the rooms large, the breakfast delicious and the wellness area very relaxing.
There's really nothing.

We were completely satisfied.
The breakfast was for this great ambience a little easy and not so diversified.

This is a great location for the Hotel It is a luxuary hotel but the Grand is now a little tired. There was an adjoining hotel linked by underground corridor and had an excelent spa. The hotel is situated on an island close to the city and once one gets a handle of the roads it is easy to navigate. YOu could spend a week on the island and never step off it as there is lots to do.
A little Tired. A little expensive for any extras even breakfast but hey its a luxuary hotel.

Location on the island was great for a 4-day stay as the beautiful island park and pools provided variation to a 'city-break'. In the hotel, the staff were helpful and there is a very nice terrace restaurant (with gypsy quartet in evenings). The access to the thermal facilities (3 indoor and 1 outdoor pool, plus sun terrace) in the neighbouring hotel also provided a huge bonus to city visit as we got to sunbathe and swim.
Personal preference is for a more modern interior - the facilities in the room were dated and bathroom needed refurbishing. The dated style is ok for those who like period features though. If my stay had been shorter than 4 days, then the island location may not have been such a plus due to distance from city sights (45+ mins walk to centre).
-
My wife and I stayed in the hotel for the 4. time! The number of our visit says for itself! We especially liked the spa and wellness facilities and the quiet location of the island in the Danube!
Breakfast, although excellent, is overpriced!
-
The thermal pool.
Driving directions inadequate once on the island..Explanation needed about entering the public car park.
-
the hotel has an old times charm, atmosphere of the island was excellent, the spa was very good, and it's near the city
dinner was average but pricy, breakfast was pricy too but we didn't have it
